Architectural riot | One of many canal side delights |
From the time one steps from the 'plane at the airport the eye is taken with the architecture - Schipol is elegant with its sweeping lines and dark glass, and almost wherever ones goes in the city one finds different delights for the eye. I recommend you walk and look and don't just look down (though you do need to watch your step), look up at the house tops, too. All sorts of shapes are there to please. And if you tire the plentiful cafes will find something to restore your soul! |
