Portmeirion This is two hours from Liverpool (which is a fantastic city - I really recommend a visit there!) and is unique. It is properly in Wales but Liverpool seems the nearest city. Designed and built by Clough Williams Ellis the village is a magical place. It was used as a set for the cult 1960's series "The Prisoner". A very kind friend took us there to celebrate her birthday! |
Liverpool The great city is so good that it is impossible to write just a paragraph. If you love art galleries, cathedrals, football, thetare, people, history, music, it is all here and so much more! |
