Home of the Tart With the Cart!

Molly Malone

The Lady Herself!
'The Tart With the Cart' is the colloquial name for Molly Malone whose statue is in Grafton Street. She is the heroine of the folk song. The piece is one of a number and Dubliners have an irreverent attitude to them - another is called 'The Hags With the Bags'. Life-size it is worth seeing - just get in the queue for the photos!
Great Guinness
Dublin is a great city - you can see most of the major landmarks in three days. The vast majority are south of the river. One tip - definitely don't go with a car - the Guinness is too good, the roads too crowded already!

Pros:"Great food, plenty of places to eat (and drink!) easy to walk around."
Cons:"The traffic, the traffic, the traffic."
In A Nutshell:"Great crack!"
