Welcome to my Kansas page!
I was born and raised in Kansas. I lived in Winfield,
Kansas. It is located in south central part of the state, just southeast of Wichita. It is in the beautiful Walnut river valley, and there are lots of large and small farms here. They raise wheat, milo, and hay, along with cows, hogs, and sheep. There are lots of small oil wells too.
Winfield was the home of Binney & Smith,who made millions of Crayons, markers, and school and artist paint.The plant closed in 1998. Also, there in a large
Rubber-Maid plant, that makes trash cans, gas cans, tool boxes, ect. Winfield also hosts the Walnut Valley festival, bluegrass music, every September.
