Grandfather Mountain in the BlueRidge

The Mountain
The most rugged Mountain in Eastern America. This is an espectacular visit, an encounter with Nature. You breathe, feel and see nature. Very nice views of mountains, trees, animals, etc...
You feel it all the way, it's like a place where you can relax and feel a different sensation from the ordinary specially when you are form crowded places like Miami. It's a calm atmosphere. Great to walk as you reach the top of the mountain. You can see different species of animals, bears, hawks, among others, I reccomend this place a lot. There is a rocky museum where you can see all the gemstones originary form there, beautiful. there is a gift shop too, pretty nice yiou can find gemstones, little bears gifts, shirts, etc.
With the family on top of the mountain

The crossing bridge

As you reach the top of the mountaine, there is a swinging bridge. It is at one mile height, so it's scaring, but a nice experience, you feel the freedom and the respect for the nature and heights. Be sure to wear sneakers for this bridge crossing, the view is spectacular, and in July is a great month to visit the weather is great, not to hot and not to cold, you can still feel some wind at that height.
rock climbing

Like rock climbing, but the real

We were doing a real rock climbing but not for experts....
The guard warn us to move away as there were some species in danger of desappearence mostly plants. But we did climb, really cool.
