Many women lost their loved ones in the war in Afghanistan, and this is a memorial to them. It's very poignant, there are about 24 sculptures of women, and they all look different.The agony they went through is told by looking at their faces, and posture.It's a very beautiful memorial.

Last wooden house: either you're joking or you've had too much vodka! There are 1000's of wooden houses in Minsk - areas the Soviets never got around to changing + the CM wasn't written in Minsk!
