"Coral Bay. Nr. Paphos" a Paphos Travel Page by piersend

Hi, we've been to Coral Bay in 2000 and have just come back from a 2nd dose of sunshine in August this year. Its quite a small resort, but with plenty of bars and restaurants to keep you busy, plus with the best beach in the Paphos area. We stayed both times at a friend's apartment which is in a nice holiday village close to all amenities. You can easily get to Paphos on the bus from Coral Bay, it's a very good service. This tIme though we hired a car so we got to see more of the island. The main pic is of the small cove near Coral Bay Main Beach, the Main Beach gets pretty crowded, but it's a nice and safe beach, with good sand.

Coral Bay (Paphos), has plenty of Restaurants/Bars, most are open till 2am, but it is not a noisy resort and is ideal for a family holiday. The food is generally excellent and reasonably priced, the local beer is either Keo or Carlsberg (Brewed locally), the price ranges from 1-1.5 Cypriot Pounds :-))

A Beatles tribute band were playing on the main Coral Bay Beach from about 4.00pm, the weather was still baking, but not as bad as Mid-day, anyway they we're pretty good so we had a great time, took plenty of Coke to refresh us (with Brandy added too)!
