Sydney Warning or Danger Tips by piersend

I'm sure I heard somewhere, I might have read it in Bill Bryson's excellent book Down Under that Australia has more Posionous animals and plants than anywhere else in the World! I don't think that Sydney is bad compared to other parts of OZ, but there are still a few shocks in store! We arrived shellshocked after a 24 hour flight with no sleep, to meet up with my wife Jenny's estranged relatives, as we were shown round our part of their house were we were to stay. As we were shown the cupboards in the kitchen this enormous object fell onto the work surface! We quickly ushered the kids out of the room as this unfolded, it turned out that this monster of a spider was perfectly harmless, a Huntsman we were told! Still the nerves were shattered before seeing it! Also in OZ it is a cardinal sin to leave the flyscreens open.
