I remember in my childhood seeing pictues of the Pantheon and being mesmorized. At night Rome is gorgeous - the lighting is remarkable. One of the highlights was renting a vespa for a few days and zipping around the city. There's so much art and architecture - it's mind boggling. Trastevere is a wonderful retreat from the dailu bustle of Roma.
