HundertMeister Kulturzentrale: City Culture Center

HundertMeister is one of THE IN spots in Duisburg. In a town not particularly known for clubbing, HundertMeister has gained quite a reputation, of having an interesting program, small unknown, but talented live groups, events and dances. The only drawback in the place is that it only has a capacity for about 200 people - and no parking facitlities. It is one of the view clubs that hasn't been Americanised by moving it out to one of those old warehouses in the boonies. HundertMeister is right downtown in the Dell Quarter. Sometimes they have admission, but it's relatively cheap. There are no cover charges or drink minimums, and the drinks are affordable.

Dress Code: Chic, but not too chic. Usually people are wearing whatever they had on when they quit work (except for construction workers). This is the sort of place you would expect to find Alley McBeal in. Incidently Wonda Shepard played here, too.
