München

München or Munich as we call it is the capital of the German state of Bavaria.

I have visited twice now. Once in december and also in june. I must admit it was far nicer in june.

Munich is a very pretty city and is also very clean but if your are driving it is a nightmare to get around as there are so many one streets and lots of traffic too. I would recommend using the public transport although that can be a nightmare too, especially on a friday evening.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Very nice city
Cons:Not a city for drivers
In a nutshell:Definately a city worth visiting more than once.

Yup, winter in Germany can be rather harsh. For someone like me who's used to the weather in the tropics, the cold weather can really make me cranky.

My ancestors came from Bavaria and I want to visit the area very much. I may have a trip planned for next summer that will allow me to stop in Munich. I hope so. Nice page.
