Not as expected.... | Our first Sundowner in Africa! |
We arrived at our hotel in Windhoek after about a 45 minute drive from the airport and were welcomed by the friendly staff, which, after seeing our driver was a relief as he looked like he'd seen better days.
The hotel was on a hill in what seemed like a residential area and overlooked the city below.
We had to wait for our room so we decided as we had had a long night to start the day with a nice glass of sekt! It was nice just to breath in the fresh African air, watch lizards running around the garden and just in front A Weaver bird was building his nest!
Fantastic!! |
