"FLORIDA" Miami by nygaston

We did decide not to stay in Miami (too noisy, too much concrete), so we moved North and stayed in Highland Beach: one of the safest locations in USA !!!

Very Nice walk on the beach !
Here , it is more natural: no bar, no restaurant, only the beach and the ocean.

We stayed at Regency Club 3912 S. Ocean Blvd - Highland Beach, near the library.

Drive the nice road A1A from Fort Lauderdale to Fort Pierce !!!

Some interesting things to do here, on Federal Highway , route No. 1 (around NE 20th):
-Restaurant Le Rivage , french and good
-Punjab Inn (indian restaurant and inn)
-Starbucks Café, near Kinko
-Fedex and Kinko: very good services
-Publix Food store, with living lobster for lunch !!!!
-Big Shopping Mall at Glades Rd and FAU (Whole Food, barnes and Noble)
-Le Pavilion Grille on Wednesday at 8pm , on Yamato Rd
-Boca Ballroom Dance
-Fred Astaire dance school
-Dance Sport at 125 Ave L, on friday at 8pm

interesting things to do:
-yogasol.com : very good teacher on 22nd St
-YAMA Restaurant on Atlantic Avenue
-House of SIAM : good thai restaurant near Pinaple St
-Green Market on saturday (small market, good crepes)
-Starbucks on Atlantic Ave: incontournable
-free shuttle bus in the town
-the beaches on the East side
-community center: dance at veteran park on Tuesday
-house of pancake, on sunday morning on Route 1 and Linton Ave
-big tomato: pizza
