Are we having fun yet? If you are in Madrid, the answer is a resounding... Yes!
Madrid can be considered a paragon among night-life European capitals. It is the only city I know which seems to have a minimum of three bars on every block, plus a restaurant and a nightn spot; and that includes the Atocha train station where La Vieja Estación, the tarraza of the former rail yard, is buzzing with half a dozen bars, a restaurant, a covered dance floor and a catwalk, where fashion shows are held every summer night. Madrid stole my heart! This city specifically is famous for its night life. If you want to see the real Madrid, you’ll have to wait till the sun sets. Especially on weekends and in Summer. If you’re planning a visit to Madrid and want to know what’s going on, you can buy the "Guia del Ocio" (Madrid's Time Out Magazine) in any street kiosk, where you’ll find all the information you want about Bars, Discos, Theaters and Cinemas. I had a blast, and recommend everyone to visit Spain, at least once! is one of those things you must do at least once in a lifetime! and if you can go back, even better! |
