Antigua Guatemala Transportation: 30 reviews and 29 photos
They have public transportation (the very colorful buses) but I wouldn't recommend them.... though you can try it if you're staying in Guatemala city, you'll need to! 'cause a taxi would just be too expensive! (well, nothing can be 'too expensive' in Guatemala) And if you do, these buses are pretty safe, especially going from the city to Antigua, only about a 45 minute trip. But once in Antigua... the thing to do is 'walk'!!!! and enjoy the views and cobble stone streets, etc.
