On the slopes of a small hill lies the city of Mons, the capital of the Belgian province of Hainaut. It is sometimes overlooked by tourists, but without reason. Mons offers all the splendors and historical richness that so typifies most of the cities in Belgium. Mons is certainly worth a visit during the frequent processions that take place here during the year |

orhunde Thu Mar 11, 2004 17:01 UTC I've spent three weeks in mons before, I had a family friend there. I'd thought mons was a extremely small place, then again it was a gothic setting of not too many inhabitants. From your pictures I just remembered the place... | Daja123 Mon Mar 24, 2003 15:37 UTC Excellent page and nice photos too. Thanks | Djinn76 Thu Jan 2, 2003 17:15 UTC Rather funny, you state yourself that Mons is in the province of Hainaut but your page is linked to "province de Liege" ;-) | Aussie666 Thu Jun 6, 2002 14:36 UTC Well written and interesting, thx. |
