Shibuya... This place is crazy busy!

Shibuya Crossing
When you first step out of the JR Hachiko exit of Shibuya Station off the Yamanote line, your senses will be immediately overwhelmed by the noise, colors and hordes of people in this very popular city within a city. Shibuya is probably the most popular hangout spot for all of Tokyo's younger crowds and the number of shops and restaurants in this area reflect this. You can pretty much find anything you want here making Shibuya a popluar shopping spot for tourists and the rest of the Tokyo population which would account for the non-stop flow of people. Shibuya is also considered much safer than Shinjuku, so you can let your guard down and enjoy. Not that you have to anyways. Japan is a much safer country than compared to many other countries, and you can sense that while walking about busy Tokyo.
Harajuku Station

Harajuku

Harajuku is located on the Yamanote line between Shinjuku and Shibuya stations. The Meji Shrine is located here just a few steps away. It is also a popular hangout for the groups of young Japanese people dressing up in strange costumes. And, Yes, you may take their pictures. In fact, they WANT you to, so snap away.
Odakyu Department Store in Shinjuku

Shinjuku

Shinjuku, the other crazy busy place in Tokyo, is also located on the Yamanote line. If you like shopping, this place has enough HUGE department stores to keep you busy and make you poor. Some of the bigger department stores are Odakyu, Seibu, Mitsukoshi, Isetan, Keio, and of course, Takashimaya Times Square.
