I love Columbus. I was born here and have lived here or near here for most of my life. The few short periods of time when I was living elsewhere, I missed so much about Columbus, and it wasn't even just missing my friends and family, it was the city itself, the weather, the restaurants, the trees, the feel and atmosphere of this city.

It's new and it's old; it's not one of those places where everything's brand spanking new, it has a sense of history, but it's not an old run-down falling-apart city. There's so much growth here, so much new stuff being built all the time and new people coming in...and yet in some ways it still feels like a small town where everyone knows one's neighbors and you can't go to the grocery store without getting into a pleasant conversation. I think it's a great place to live, though I'm not much of an expert on looking at it from a tourist's or visitor's point of view.
