The Picos de Europa must be one of the most beautiful places on the earth.The mountains are so compact ,they seem to tower over you.You ride up the valley & can feel the mountains around you.
We have had two cycling trips around the Picos.The first time we carried camping gear & used campsites.The second time using small pensions or bed & breakfasts.Both times we had no trouble finding accommodation.
We cycled around the whole of the Picos from Panes to Cangas de Onis by the southern road & back along the northern road.
