Back on the town square

Finally we came back to the town square .... first all looks very simple - but then it comes - with all its magnificance!

But you must alrealy know EVERYTHING about it after your read the must-see spots ...

if not hurry up! It's time now ....

The statue

Here we came to a road and you have to follow it back into the town centre - on the way you will see this great statue.

You can take a picture here (like the one on your left) with the statue and the town in the background.

It is not far to the town centre from here .....

A little bit later you will see this and the holy spirit tower in the middle. You can climb this tower in summer - unfortuneatly it was closed when I was there. For more information about the tower have a look into my must-see spots of Telc.

Directions:
On the most time you will go on a small path, but it is good to walk and it should be no great problem. And there is also a bridge on the route where you can go back into the town.

On wind-less days you could see the silhuette of Telc reflecting in the water of the pond ....



Equipment:
Prepare also a good jacket! It likes to be windy in Telc and this part of the Czech Republic in general. And the wind is mostly a very cool one ...

When taking pictures and you get such a wonderful sunshine, put a polarizing filter on your lens. The pictures will get more colourful, dramatic and cleaner too.

A hike around the old town

Take a hike around the town centre! It is very recommendable and you will see also a lot from outside.

One of the first things you will see is on the picture ....


Equipment:
Good and comfortable shoes are always a good choice and, of corse, do not forget your camera! You will have amazing views on your hike and you will think that Telc lies on an island, although the reverse is the case.

Directions:
Get go the way as I described it in one of my must-see tips .... pass the castle, then turn left, stay right and always go straight. You will see the pond and after the pond turn left to start your walk ...
