Off The Beaten Path: Fraueninsel

After you have visited the palace you can go on the Fraueninsel, which is the smaller island in lake. It houses a monastery which can be visited too.
If you plan to go there, then make shure that your ship ticket includes the ride to the Fraueninsel too.
It must be very lovely there - hope to be there next time!

Off The Beaten Path: A path around the island

There is also a hiking path around the island, which is about 7 km long. It runs through the forest mainly and brings you to interesting points (like this church) off the tourist masses.
This hike looks very interesting and I have to do it next time!
PS: I took this photo from the ship, but you will pass this church too on your hike.
