Hi there ... and welcome on my internet site here on "Virtual Tourist.com". I am very proud that you are interested in my travel pages. I like travelling ... it is one of the most wonderful things. I visited countries in Europe, Asia and South America. When I look back, each travel was a new experience, a new adventure. So, enjoy your life and visit as many countries as possible ...

Self Introduction

Hmmm.... who is that ??

First I want to introduce myself: My name is Manfred Edelmann. Manfred is the first name and Edelmann the surname. But some friends and my family call me "Fred". If you want you can call me "Fred" too. I am a vintner. So if you have any questions about viticulture and enology I will try to answer it.

Hobbies

Seoul, Korea

Due to my profession I have less time, but when I have it I like to go travelling (who doesn´t like it here? :-)), take photos and listen to remote radio stations on shortwave, which is a perfect addition to travelling.

Oh yes, and I also collect baseball caps from towns, national parks and other interesting places, events (such as the Olympic games and Soccer World Cup) and radio stations. If you would like to know something more about my interests , feel free to contact me.

Melk - a great monastery

Melk - the library

In Melk (Austria), just on the highway A1, there can be found one of Europe's greatest monasteries. It's a baroque juwel and there is also a great staircase there ....

Zelena Hora - the green hill

Zelena Hora is a very small place in the Czech Republic, but a very interesting one. There is a church and a graveyard on a greeny hill.

Steyr - a historical town in Austria

Steyr - Michaelskirche

Short - but beautiful was also my visit in Steyr. It's a great town and it is the town of a well-known person here on VT - Michael (globetrott).
