I was born in Foz do Iguacu, border with Paraguay!
i always go to Ciudad del Este to do some shopping cause its a free tax zone! U can buy all sort of goods (electronics, perfum, shoes) for very afordable prices!
From Foz do Iguacu, all you have to do is cross de "Friendship Bridge" that connect the 2 countries. If you are just going there for one day visit you dont need to present your passaport to stamp, just if you want.
