Hi everyone!
And welcome to my homepage. I have met lots of wonderful people here and have made some very nice friends (...for people, I mean...heehee).

As you might guess, I don't usually go very far away from home. It's just too hard (especially when you take my whole family into account). Which reminds me of a story you might like.... One day when I was playing outside and suddenly there was a loud noise that scared me a lot. I jumped up to get out of the way of whatever it was and I landed inside a big dark place. Before I could even turn around, somebody closed the door behind me and I heard them lock it. UH-OH! It was very, very dark inside and I was having trouble getting anywhere because there were so many things that I could not see. Eventually, I realized that the dark place was filled with boxes of different sizes and shapes. Aha! I was inside the cargo compartment of an airplane! It was SOOOOOoooo scary! I tried to find a snug little spot to curl up and try to stay warm. But it didn't work...I got so sick! (Now you know why I don't fly.)

It was a good thing that it wasn't an international flight! Instead, it was a little jet and it only went to Sinaia, in the mountains north of Bucuresti. As soon as they opened the cargo compartment, I jumped out and ran away. Fortunately, I have cousins there, so I stayed with them until I felt better. Then, because I was already so far away from home, I decided to have an early holiday; I spent a whole week playing with my cousins in the forest. It was so lovely. (You really should visit Sinaia--it's very, very pretty.) Then, I hitchhiked my way back to Bucuresti. (Actually, I got a ride from some nice people in their caruta--that's like a farmer's wagon to you.) Although Didina and the children were worried about me (after all, the trip was not exactly planned and my cousins do not have a telephone), we had a very nice reunion. And some day, Didina and I will take the children to Sinaia to visit their cousins.

I look forward to building my new pages even though I haven't strayed too far from my home here in Bucuresti. I promise to add more stuff later! And I LOVE to correspond with new friends, so if you want to, please write me. I promise to write back to you!
