I was born & raised in Dallas, TX, but Denton is now my home. I've lived here for 3 years and I like the atmosphere. It's small enough so you don't feel overwhelmed and it's big enough so that the sidewalks don't roll up at night. We have 2 state universities in Denton with a combined enrollment of 40,000 students.

Our city has over 80,000 residents (not including students).

There are two Dentons in TX, and this is the one near Abilene, and not the one near McKinney and Dallas in Denton Co where TWU is located.
