You have to go through Picton. When you use the Cook Strait Ferries, Picton is the main entry , exit point for the South Island. Picton is home to two notable old boats. The first is, The Edwin Fox built in 1853 and The Echo built in 1905.
There is a nice shopping centre that has all you need from a supermarket to internet cafes. |
