To be honest, i did not go thru any books/ guides about London before landing this place, just flew to there because want to stay away from work. London is a city with contradiction of classic and modern; classic is the ancient buildings while modern is the people and lifestyle. may be people there do not know but they are living in one of the oldest of the modern world's big cites.
One thing i quite like about London is their underground network (people call it TUBE). For tourist, they can always get a landmark for the direction. there are always a road sign to tell you where to go. So the best way to see London is by tube and walking.
- Pros:easy to get around even you might get lots of walk
- Cons:things are expensive (because of currency), spitting...may be i am unfortunate to have this scene
