    • Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Boston, like anyplace else on the Eastern seaboard, is vulnerable to the Gulf Stream, and therefore, though normal summer highs are from 80-85, it is PLENTY humid (sometimes during REAL hot spells, folks go to Miami Beach to COOL OFF)! And the winter months see the kind of snow worthy of a ski resort. As with most of America east of the Continental Divide, the best time to visit is in the late March/late May and late September/early November periods.
