DC is an interesting city. The center of the USA political arena full of slums and unaffordable housing. It is a wonderfully diverse city with great museums, restaraunts and cultural events yet many people who live there don't even have a roof over their head. I always find something to do different during every visit to this city though I tend to skip the "big ones" like the Washington monument, Capitol building etc. It is always worth the visit, just to be able to visualize what my tax dollars have paid for. |
