Leicester Square: New Year's Eve
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Nightlife Spot: Leicester Square

London on New Year's Eve is sheer madness. Imagine having a ball with more than 10,000 people under the open sky with live music and a countdown to midnight. Try and be out on the streets in Central London on Dec 31. Make sure catc hold of ur purses, cameras, handycams and other stuff cos it will be a mad rush. The countdown on Leicester square is fun with a few thousand souls jumpin in the air with you.

The best part is the ride back home. The Underground offers free ride home after 12 midnight till bout 4 in the morning, so dont worry if ur getting late, Ken Livingstone has made elaborate arragements for your travel back home.

West End: Opera, musicals, clubs and pubs
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Nightlife Spot: West End

Im not much of a night bird but London definetely drags you out of your room in the nights. Though I would prefer a quiet musical, theatre or a walk around the West End. Some of the hotspots-
Covent Garden (central london) -Filled with restaurants, bars, markets and boutiques, London's premier tourist center offers fabulous shopping by day, and the destination of theatergoers and patrons of the Royal Opera House by night.

For all the sleazy guys out there, check out covent garden, soho and leicester square for all kinds of acceptable and unacceptable clubs in london. Mayfair & St James's for many more clubs.
