Oh Blimey..

Me in Oxford street
London is incredibly cosmopolitan and modern and hip and happening, food is very international and can be great (the best curries!!!), people - although mostly good-natured - are on the move and can be impatient, and yet, you'll find nooks and crannies where the good old British ways persist - friendly smiles, leisurely strolls, lovely gardens, Harris Tweed, scones...

I was an international student in Uk for a perioid of about 14 months. London has been good to me, it was an experience of a lifetime, a walk thru history and a whole lot of different cultures, all in a well packaged deal. I'll be back.

If you're a first-timer, you may arrive in London expecting a city that overflows with pomp and pageantry. And yes, I'll admit it, we did tear up the first time we stepped into Whitechapel. But that's only a small slice of today's London. This cosmopolitan city has everything from Srilankan markets to Belgian restaurants to hand-penned Beatles lyrics... It's a whole world waiting out there to be explored.

Pros:"There are so many"
Cons:"Beware of travelling in the nights. Caution caution. Charles married camilla and he is now in search of a mistress!!"
In A Nutshell:"A taste of all the cultures of the world."
