Luggage And Bags: Bring some clean underwear, cause you dont want to be smelly when your out in London.
Its good to have a big backpack when your walking through London, There are alot of stairs that make it horrible if you have a suitcase...with or without wheels.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Good tennis shoes if your trekking across London,
Slacks and dress shoes if you plan on going clubbing.
