"Sorrento.......don't bother" a Sorrento Travel Page by Tomoe

Sorrento is a waste of time. Unless you are staying in an expensive cliffside hotel, don't expect to see the sea very much. There is a nice little park with a free view, but it usually smells of vomit and dog's mess, which kind of ruins it for me. Sorrento is crying out to be pedestrianised so the western world's worst drivers don't run over the tourists, but logic and good business sense don't appear high on their list of priorities. Italy is a beautiful country, there are plenty of nicer places than this tourist trap to visit.
