"GREAT LITTLE BAR" Whangaroa by DONBURGESS

Whangaroa is a small fishing village on the south east coast between Kaitia and Paihia.
It has a fishing club, a great little hotel full of friendly locals and a general store.. The view from our hostel rooom was fantastic, early moning mist over the water and a lone fishing boat. The only proplem with this picture was that it rained all day and that ment that there was to be no fishing done.

The hill

The country around here was all up hill and down dale, there was plenty of place to explore, small coves etc large mountains streams etc

The fissh and chip shop

Ok the claim here that they reckon that this is the best fish and chip in the world, we out of 10 we gave it a 6. the Chips where ok the fish its self was good but the batter on the fish was yuck. But you make up your own mind, Oh they also serve booze so that got a extra point ot two.
