I was fortunate enough to spend a month working in Saudi. I was training to directionally survey oil wells and the company had a lot of work there so it was a good training ground. The company house was in Al Khobar, near Dhahran. Most of the work was onshore around that around but I did a few jobs on offshore rigs.<BR>
My memories are hazy now but it was fascinating to experience a cultural way of life so different to the one I was used to. One of my biggest regrets was going before I developed an interest in photography and I didn't even take a camera so no pics, I'm afraid.
