The sign at the entrance of the temple I visited says:

ATTENTION!

It is prohibited to enter the temple for:
1. Women having menstruation.
2. Everybody without decent dress and without a scarf around the waist.

Wear a sarong when visiting temples

When visiting temples of religious significance it is necessary to wear a sarong around your waist.

At this particular temple I walked past several shops on the way. The shopkeepers all told me that I needed a sarong and offered to sell me one. This is not necessary however, unless you want to buy one for yourself.

An entrance fee is charged to visit the temple and this fee includes the use of a sarong which is returned when you leave.
