Fondest Memory: Meeting this very friendly Chinese chap in the central market who was happy to pose for me. His style of dress and plaited hair caught my attention.

Fondest Memory: The viewing platform in the Petronas Towers is on the Sybridge that links the twin towers on the 42nd floor. The bridge itself has 2 levels. The lower level is for casual observers and the upper level is for office workers who need to get between the 2 towers.

Favorite Thing: I would think this is probably the No. 1 tourist attraction in KL. This is the view from the Petronas Towers Skybridge. It is not possible, unfortunately to see the Manara TV tower from here.

Fondest Memory: This is the view from the other side. Fewer buildings and more green areas.

Fondest Memory: While admiring the view of KL from the Petronas Towers I suddenly noticed the painter outside. Standing precariously in a small bucket secured by wire ropes and swinging around in the breeze he was painting the outside of the building using a brush tied to a long stick. I tried to find out how much he earnt! Having a great fear of heights myself I wouldn't do this job for any amount of money.

Fondest Memory: Observing local street vendors. This old lady, hunched over her basket, was selling eggs in the street.

mary2u99 Thu Feb 22, 2007 09:11 UTC It's true everyone want to see the Petronas Twin Tower. On my flight back from Netherland this Swedish lady sitting next to me who is on a stopover flight was so excited to see it too. :-) Great page. | petertheobald Sat Sep 17, 2005 14:01 UTC useful review on Master Tan and Wong! name changed, address is same, service is just as good as described... must visit rather than the other "foot rubbing" places | Cemerlang Sat Mar 27, 2004 14:16 UTC Hmm ... I have these friends from Liverpool and London keep on coming back every year for shopping. Most of them are in their 20s. I guess you must have missed something on your trip. Anyway, a great review!! | mrclay2000 Tue Nov 11, 2003 04:46 UTC Mosques and minarets are usually enough to divert me, but this National Mosque is well, a little below the standard I knew in Turkey. |
