"Berlin" a Berlin Travel Page by phil_uk_net

This is another page that I am trying to build on the basis of a few old photos and some very sketchy memories. At one point in my life I used to just book flights to European cities for a few days and nothing else. I'd find accommodation and things to do when I got there. Where were you VT when I needed you?
Berlin was one such trip. When I went it was almost 3 years since the wall had come down but there were still stark differences between the east and west. I would loved to have visited before the wall came down and gone over to the east but alas I was too late.
