A Very good mid-town location - ideal for Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall concerts, not that far from most Broadway Theaters either. A lot of beautiful people work here and stay here, but it's not so intimidating: the staff is most accomodating, and not at all haughty. Even a shy midwesterner like yooperprof was made to feel completely comfortable amidst the trendies. The rooms are quite small - but the room rates are very reasonable for NYC. (I was able to get a sweet deal using one of the internet discounters.) The Hudson has two chic bars and a delightful patio garden that is open in good weather.
