Boston is a world unto itself. A true international city, Boston is also an "Atlantic Rim" city that has as much in common with London and Dublin as it does with Kansas City or Los Angeles. I wouldn't say that it's a "European" city - though it certainly is not built on the kind of street grid familiar in American cities from New York to Washington to Chicago and beyond. But it is a city where an Atlantic perspective is not strange or unusual. |

moiraistyx Fri Sep 8, 2006 01:59 UTC Very nice Boston page. This is so far my favorite US city, but I haven't ventured to the West coast yet. | Polly74 Wed Feb 9, 2005 08:15 UTC My favourite city....in US | Zmrzlina Tue Aug 24, 2004 00:42 UTC If you haven't been to Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, make sure you do next time. It is my must see for Boston. I lived just outside of Boston for most of my life. |
