Oh Springfield. Oh Illinois. Is it something in the water here? Four recent governors of Illinois have been indicted for serious crimes. Two of them were convicted, and things don't look so great right now for George Ryan, the most recent former governor to be in the hot seat. That's not to mention convictions of a former State Treasurer and a former Attorney General - within the last 30 years. And then there was Paul Powell. Powell had been Secretary of State of Illinois in the 1960s. When he died, hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash was discovered in his apartment - stuffed in shoeboxes. Most of it is thought to have come from driver's licence fees which Powell kept for himself.

Cons:One of the uglier cities of America, IMHO

we caught the owener bad mouthing customers on several occasions and we stopped going when we heard him doing it about us. Don't trust this place with your money
