Thomas Edison was an annual visitor to the gulf coast of Florida long before it was popular. He was quite a workaholic and so it was natural for him to build a replica of his New Jersey laboratory right on the grounds as well, so that he would put his time to the most productive.     I, too, enjoyed visiting the Edison/Ford complex. Even though it is a tourist attraction, it is nice for the community to save such an important part of our past.
