  • Many London streets are speedways, particularly those where longer distances pass between stoplights. Bloomsbury is one neighborhood where there are many "straight-aways" where traffic roars along (whenever it can) at an impressive clip. Make sure you are looking the right direction before you ever cross Gower Street - even if you have the light.

     We made a point of looking for the Red Lion this time but it was shut on a Sunday afternoon, never mind. Be sure to visit the Princess Louise, Olde Cheshire Cheese and The Grapes sometime!
