Actually, this restaurant is in Plano...not far from Dallas. It's a small place at the back of strip mall. It's clean and service was good and the food is decent. I haven't had too much Greek food...mainly gyros...this time I had the moussaka...it wasn't too much different than lasagna. The stuffed grape leaves were excellent. I would go back for them...or just learn how to make them myself.
Favorite Dish: stuffed grape leaves...a.k.a. dolmas

Really good cajun food; this cafe/deli wouldn't be out of place in New Orleans. They serve Zaps chips and Dixie beer too...Dixie Blackened Voodoo is a great beer. The muffelettas are huge but you can get halves or quarters. Gumbo...jambalaya...desserts...it's all there Cajun-style.
Favorite Dish: Muffeletta sandwiches
Address: 4021 Preston and Spring Creek (2nd location)
Comparison: less expensive than average

I don't eat much fast-food, but I like to feed on the burritos at this place. It's not as well-known as Taco Bell, but I prefer Bueno. It's cheap and quick and good for tourists looking to spend more time seeing the sights than sitting in restaurants.
Favorite Dish: Bean Burritos!
Directions: They are here and there - just keep watch for one.

barbershop quartet singing at Spaghetti Warehouse
The Spaghetti Warehouse restaurant chain originated in Dallas in the West End. It's a fun place to eat, and the food is pretty good too. It's in an old warehouse building and is decorated with memoriablia from the early 1900s. There's even a trolley car in the restaurant where you might be lucky enough to get a table. It's usually pretty busy on the weekends.
Favorite Dish: spaghetti and meatballs

Fletcher's at the Fair
Corny dogs are hot dogs on sticks...then they're dipped in batter and fried. It might be OK to eat a corny dog once a year, but too many of these things are dangerous. Supposedly, the corny dog was invented by Fletcher's in the 1940s. They've been a staple at the State Fair ever since. Fletcher's also sell frozen hot dogs for cooking at home...in a frozen food section near you!
Favorite Dish: Corny Dogs.
Address: Fair Park and other places around Dallas.
Comparison: least expensive
Price: less than US$10

Cafe Brazil has many locations around Dallas. It used to be an after hours hang-out; after a night of partying, people would head for the Cafe Brazil off of Central in University Park for coffee and omelettes...not sure if it's still like that though. Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner...with a Brazilian touch.
Dallas is a big restaurant city. The Dallas Dinesout website listed below will help find any other kinds of restaurants.

The quesadillas at Primo's rock! I can't really comment about the rest of the food because all I ever ate there were the quesadillas. It's a fun, little Tex-Mex place - either for eating or drinking.
Favorite Dish: Quesadillas
Address: 3309 McKinney Ave

Directions: just north of downtown Dallas - the trolley cars pass right in front of the restaurant.
Price: US$11-20

Good Tex-Mex food. Used to go to the downtown El Fenix location - great food and atmosphere. They used to give out complimentary sopapillas - not anymore though - they're $1.39 each now - things change.
Favorite Dish: Sopapillas and honey
Address: All around the DFW area.
