I took a day trip to Warwick from Rugby. Warwick Castle and the town itself are great places to visit. The picture shows some residents of Warwick Castle; they're actually wax-figures - they looked pretty life-like to me.
- Pros:Most of the sights are in easy walking distance of each other.
- Cons:It rained most of the time I was there.

I liked the Warwick castle but also didn't see any ghosts there. Maybe you should put this tip in tourist traps? ;-)
Even Ghosts are commercialised:-) You're right, nothing like good old fish and chips (non American-style). Drooling.....
This is the coolest castle I've been to in England too, no doubt! It has its rivals in Scotland and France, but in England, Warwick is tops for atmosphere...ohhhh, unless you count the Tower of London. Now that is in a class to itself! ;-)
