Caribbean Coast at Xpu-Ha Palace
Not having escaped the Canadian winter the previous year, I decided in December, 2002 that I had to have some palm trees to see me through another winter! Our 'last minute' trip was arranged using our airline travel points, so there was no point in trying to go the all-inclusive route. I got on the internet and managed to book a Condominium on the hotel strip at Cancun for our required dates. It turned out to be one of the most enjoyable vacations that we have ever had - Cancun is great! Photo taken along the coast at the Xpu-Ha Palace Resort on the Mayan Riviera, south of Cozumel.

In A Nutshell:"A great place to vacation - safe and a wide choice of attractions."

Great tips on Cancun and the Yucatan, Glenn! Cancun seemed a bit subdued at the time of my visit....it was still very much in the process of recovering. Oh yes, I'm watching the World Cup games religiously......I've got USA vs Czech Rep on right now! :-))
