Not having escaped the Canadian winter the previous year, I decided in December, 2002 that I had to have some palm trees to see me through another winter! Our 'last minute' trip was arranged using our airline travel points, so there was no point in trying to go the all-inclusive route. I got on the internet and managed to book a Condominium on the hotel strip at Cancun for our required dates.
