Fredericton is the capital of the province of New Brunswick, Canada and is located in the Maritime Provinces (NB, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island) on the Atlantic Coast. It is interesting to note that, when all the contributors and photographers to the National Geographic Magazine were polled 3 years ago for their estimation of the top 50 "must see" things/places to experience based on their World travels, Canada ended up with two "winners". One was to see the Rocky Mountains and the second was to visit the Maritime Provinces to experience the relaxed pace of life, combined with rustic scenery of your choice. A combination of seashores, forests and pastoral farm lands provides a wide variety of visual experiences. This, along with the friendly nature of the inhabitants and the reasonable cost of amenities makes this location a great place in which to spend some time! Nemorino Tue Apr 28, 2009 22:29 UTC Interesting that this quiet and unassuming place has the world's longest and highest of anything (covered bridge and tides). And the last totally undeveloped section of Atlantic coastline north of Florida. | angiebabe Fri Aug 29, 2008 12:36 UTC As usual another excellent coverage of sights and local info of another interesting place to see- esp that its your home town!Autumn colours are a fav of mine, as are farm houses and those lovely big houses....burning them down such a shame! | volopolo Tue Jun 17, 2008 13:31 UTC Great information like all your websites! | Fudge Mon Mar 3, 2008 05:31 UTC Wow, Fredicton seems sooo lovely!
