Ingleside Area: Family Lodgings!
  • Tip Rating:
  • While in SF, we were able to stay with our relatives who lived in a very comfortable house located close to San Francisco State University in the Ingleside area. It turned out to be a great base to work from - easy access to I-280 headed south to the Airport or the coastal drive, on 19th Ave. to go directly onto the Golden Gate Bridge and within walking distance of the West Portal district for walking and shopping!

Holiday Inn Express: Late arrival at airport
  • Tip Rating:
  • Satisfaction:
  • Due to our late arrival in SF from Toronto, it was close to midnight before we retrieved our luggage and rental car. Consequently, we had booked a room near the airport - at the Holiday Inn Express only a few minutes away in Burlingame.

Unique Qualities: As usual, we found this establishment to be high quality at a very reasonable rate. A complimentary breakfast was also thrown into the mix! The whole deal cost us US $54 including taxes.

Really enjoyable pages, Glenn. How nice to have a private home to stay in with such a fine location. Loved your wonderful food tips. Beautiful photographs of this lovely city.
