Due to a change in timetables I'm arriving just in time at the Berchem (Antwerp) train station so the whole group can just catch the International train to Shiphol (Amsterdam).
Since I'm arriving last, I get the last foodpackage (we already received the biggest part of the package before).
The two hour trip to the airport gives us enough time to learn to know each other (10 peoples who never met).
At 11:30 check-in of 10 backpacks and lot's of tent-bags. At departure we rewind hour clocks with two hours and at three o'clock we arrive in Keflavik (the international airport of Iceland).
The weather is so good here: low clouds and a light drizzle... but then again, this is Iceland and not Spain.
The bus brings us in one hour to the youth hostel in Reykjavik through a rather desolate landscape... it's a very "un-earth" sighting...
At 5:15PM we can take our rooms. All male persons are in ROOM 1. The three woman of our group share a room with Germans.
After a refreshing shower, we take a (long) walk into the city center (through the shopping street) and enter a small Italian restaurant for a delissious meal.
At 9PM we return to our sleeping bags... tomorrow is an early wake-up call.
