White River Junction is a small town in Vermont. With a population of only 2,569 it makes my home town of 10,000 seem like a booming metropolis. However don't let its small size fool you. There are some interesting things to do and see if your traveling through. Historically White River Junction was the first and largest railroad center in Vermont and New England north of Boston. Today the buildings still reflect the historic archetcture of the late 1800's. Its not a major destination, but if you on a holiday and driving through New England its an interesting stop to take a break from the road.
